fujifilm award winner
Bronwyn and Marcos at South Hill
Tuesday, 15 April 2008

Take a cool and creative couple, a stunning location in the Elgin Valley just outside of Cape Town, a 1920's theme with super-amazing details, a touch of Portuguese, an eclectix mix of appropriately-dressed guests (including some ultra-funky groomsmen), a sultry jazz band, many bottles of tequila consumed and you have yourself a dream wedding to shoot! Not to mention the killer African light that came through late afternoon...

And yip, this was one of THOSE weddings... the ones where the bride and groom are creatives themselves and who work for a film company. That and the numerous large lenses lurking around was all a bit daunting, but Bronwyn and Marcos were so great to shoot and just let me do my thing!

I seriously struggled to narrow these down as there were just so many that I love so far...

I LOVE this shot of Bronwyn listening for her music to walk down the aisle - which incidentally was from Dirty Dancing

Intimacy like this was manifested from many years of growing together... this is real and so rare to see ! You guys look fabulous and especially like the one when markie is holding you from behind and you are looking up laughing at him. That is your perfect man for life.

You have some interesting images here Jules. My favourite is the one with the bride looking into the sun with the wine creates in the background (No13)

Nice.

Thanks Jules, the pics are awesome - can't stop going back to look at them again and again - you really captured the essence of the wedding and the dazzlingly beautiful Bride and Groom - I am one proud Mom

Hi Shirley

These are just a few from the wedding - you'll be able to see the rest of the shots in the client login section when Bronwyn and Marcos' images are all online in a few weeks time!
