			<title>Megan and Greg at Birkenhead House</title>
			<link>http://www.julesmorganweddings.com/weddings/megan-and-greg-at-birkenhead-house.html</link>
			<description>
Megan and Greg, super chilled out and so-lovely-together couple, celebrated their big day at Birkenhead House (http://www.birkenheadhouse.com/) just outside Hermanus. Simple and beautiful details, gorgeous setting and some earth-shaking dancing from the boys...

			<title>Breathing</title>
			<link>http://www.julesmorganweddings.com/life/breathing.html</link>
			<description>I&amp;#39;ll be completely honest - the past 10 days have been relentlessly
endless. This blog is not generally a space where I share my personal
life but I really did just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who
has sent sms&amp;#39;s, flowers, cards, food, flowers, biral, organised details
when I couldn&amp;#39;t think... to those people who have chipped in for our
counselling sessions and I&amp;#39;ve heard rumours about a weekend away
somewhere? Honestly, everyone I know has been AMAZING. Which does ease
this most awful hollow pain somewhat - it&amp;#39;s just really nice to know
that people out there care.

Thank you too for everyone who trekked out to Wellington on Sunday
for Jude&amp;#39;s memorial service as well as all the hands behind the scenes
who made it happen... it was as beautiful as it could have been.

To all the other photographers I know who read my blog - this whole
experience has made me realise that what we do for people is important.
We tell it to our clients all the time - &amp;#39;at the end of your big day, all you will really have to show for it are your photos&amp;#39;.
This is so very true for life. Carry on taking amazing photos for
people and know what you are doing makes a difference to people. It&amp;#39;s
easy to fall into the trap of getting competitive or super-creative in
this industry. Just take beautiful images that your clients can
treasure. It matters.

So slowly getting back into some sort of &amp;#39;normality&amp;#39;. I&amp;#39;ll be
responding to emails sent in the next week or so. It was pretty cool
the other day we were on the way to the memorial service and stopped
for a coffee at Willowbridge. I&amp;#39;ll be the first to admit we were
swimming in way more than just a pond of self-pity, when I looked
accross and saw some of my images printed huge for @Home. It did
something to lift the spirits. This is one of the ones they&amp;#39;ve printed
for sale and it is quite symbolic of how I&amp;#39;ve been feeling the past few days.

			<title>To my Judle Noodle</title>
			<link>http://www.julesmorganweddings.com/life/to-my-judle-noodle.html</link>
			<description>
My most precious Judle-Noodle

I remember bringing you home from the hospital, sitting on my couch, crying tears of happiness at your arrival into our lives. You had come early and there was no one to help me out, but I knew that we would be fine. We were home and you were mine.

I watched with pride as you gurgled and grew into a stocky, gorgeous boy who embraced every moment to the full, pudgy hands exploring everything, never missing a beat. You loved everyone around you with random hugs and lap visits and you charmed your way into random people&amp;#39;s hearts. I wondered how I could have been so lucky to get such a happy, loving, friendly child.

I could not believe that life could be so cruel when I found you cold and lifeless in your cot last Saturday morning. The autopsy revealed that you developed myocarditis from a common viral infection which pretty much feels like a lightning bolt.

The gaping hole you have left in our hearts is unbearable. Life will never ever be the same without your bright blue eyes, contagious laugh and unending enthusiam for anything and everything. The journey from you wriggling in my belly to clinging onto my hips has been the most fulfilling and amazing one and I will never be the same again.

On a practical note to my clients - I will be shooting the weddings that I have committed to and will continue to photograph life to the full. This experience has emphasized to me exactly how important photos are - at the end of the day they really are the only thing that you have left over.

It&amp;#39;s hard to narrow down 18 months of so many different phases and
expressions into a few images but these are a few of my favourite
images from your way too short life.

			<title>Hayley and Jon at Vrede en Lust</title>
			<link>http://www.julesmorganweddings.com/weddings/hayley-and-john-at-vrede-en-lust.html</link>
			<description>
I may have said it before but I really LOVE Jewish weddings. There is always tangible sense of tradition and the horah action is insanely energetic.

Vrede en Lust (http://www.vnl.co.za/) never fails to disappoint, the light was stunning, and Hayley looked pretty damn fabulous.

A big thank you to the lovely Mary Brown (http://www.marybrownphotography.com/) who came to second shoot with me. If you&amp;#39;re in Ireland and need a photographer, give her a call!

			<title>Caron and Jacques at Greenleaves</title>
			<link>http://www.julesmorganweddings.com/weddings/caron-and-jacques-at-greenleaves.html</link>
			<description>
Caron and I had huge fun being roomates at boarding school when we were awkward adolescents with heart-wrenching crushes on anything that vaguely resembled a male. Those were the days of rocking it out to Def Leppard, Dirty Dancing and mixed tapes, Saturday school, twinkies for Wednesday lunch time, walls smothered with Macguyver and Richard Gere, room inspections, passing notes during silent homework hour, annoying high-pitched giggles and forced 5am mid-winter jogs around the Natal Midlands.

Thankfully we&amp;#39;ve moved on since then and it was amazing to see Caron with a guy who is besotted with her and who balances her so well. They had a beautiful wedding at Green Leaves (http://www.greenleaves.co.za/) in Hartebeespoort. Which, for non-Gauties, is kind of near to Joburg. Thanks to Simon, my ama-zing hubby who was my packhorse for the day.
