It would be nice to believe that photography is all about taking the photos but to be honest there is a lot more to this game then meets the eye. Not only do you have to make a choice between Nikon and Canon in the camera department but there are websites to consider, computer hardware choices, backup strategies and those dreaded three letters S...E...O. Don't even get me started on the social networking side, now not only must you take the blinking image (while rich uncle John tries to push you out the way with a lens that could drop a rhino) but you must tweet, buzz, blog and facebook the frikken thing it to every poor sod that will look.

In all honesty if it were not for my technically gifted hubby, Simon, I would be stumbling around the streets of Cape Town with my sample album in hand. This is his space...check it out

Keeping your images safe while on a shoot

This has always been a paranoia of mine for Jules. In the film days backup just wasn't a possibility but now with digital, onsite backup is not only possible it is a necessity.
